Went up to Island Lake for the 1st time this year. Started out fishing the Island Lilly pads first having pretty good luck with the little ones fishing all the way around with a Table rock watermelon seed 6" lizard. Then started fishing the docks along the shore with the same results so we headed back towards the boat launch stopping at the Lilly pads along the way when I finally landed 1 worth mentioning, and it came in at 18" 3.2 pounds. All in all we were there about 4 hrs in mid afternoon and caught a bunch of small bass and will surely be back soon to try for the larger ones.
