Went out to Tapps for about 1 hour or so. Caught 3 smallies. 2 small ones and 1 dink.
Caught on a Yamato, Purple flake, curly tail grub.
Satisfied my fishing high for the day!

Need to find some big Perch and Crappie in this lake?? They are there, probably too tough to find from the shore.

Anyway, not a bad quick outing for a week night.

There are crappie, but unfortunately, without a boat it can be tough. Though I don't fish for them, I was shown a couple good places which were coves with a lot of standing wood in them, But they were a long way from the public fishing areas.

If you want to find Crappie from the shore, go the the bankers Island bridge. Seems that they move into there in the afternoon and night. Also some good smallies and sometimes nice tigers there. Also for crappie go to the Interlake Island causeway. Fish the north side close to the streetlights in the afternoon or at night.
