Had never been to this lake before, so since we were camping in Lynden, we thought to check this lake out. Beautiful lake - no houses around it. Launch area was under water, so a little difficult to launch a boat from a trailer, but we managed. The lake has lots of lily pad groups all around the lake. We worked the south-east side for about an hour - I managed to catch a 12" largemouth bass (my first bass ever!) and shortly after that, a perch on the same lure. My son & father did not catch anything - not for lack of trying. Now we wished we'd been able to spend more time there - I'm sure we would've caught more. We loved the lake and will definitely be back to try again next summer. A local fisherman said he was catching 10-12" perch while trolling the edge of the lily pads and caught bass the day before.
