We camped at Long Lake without any fish, so I walked over to Sage Lakes to try my luck. I've done well here in the past, but in 4 hours of fishing marshmallow and worm I had zero bites. Sat. was dead calm and warm enough to fish in my shirt sleeves, so you can't beat that for this time of year. Lots of ducks and geese in the area. Lake level is down about 5 ft. from normal.
