Up to the lake for the weekend to mow and water in preparation for Labor Day weekend, and of course, made some time for fishing.

Did some trolling for the Koks that were biting Memorial Day weekend, and they were still biting, and still decent size. Using a Panther Martin with white corn on the hooks, and a split shot about 2 feet up the line. Only trolled for about an hour, on the way to the bass spots. Caught 3 and lost one at the boat. Largest may have gone 15"+

The bass bite was slower, but the ones that did bite were of good size. Tossed top water poppers in the early AM and late PM, and also tried crank baits, and plastics. Best luck was with the top water lures. A few 1lb SM and LM, but the bigger fish were 3lb+ SM, and a 4-5lb+ SM. The big one jumped, pulled line, pulled the boat around, and fought for about 10min. Good times.

Tight Lines!
