Well I figured I would give Clear lake a try after reading a few good reports. I showed up to think fog around 7 am a few other boat on the water. I was using the pink splater dodger and a pink wana fish lure and tried many others with no luck. I was trolling on the DR anywhere from 20' - 55' in 40 - 85' of water. I saw two other boats trolling and they look to be landing a few fish so I must have some stink on the boat. I will give it another try in a few days.
I talked with one person who caught a few and said it was an off day for fish. I packed it up around 9:30 am no fish not bites nada. It has been a while since I have gone home empty handed in a lake but hey it happens. It was a great morning to watch the fog lift and the sun shine bright and Mt Rainier looking great in the background.

Thanks,

Eric

Hi Eric...It was hard. I got lots when I first got there. All small. I had switched to a spoon which got all the fish but 3. It was hard and the big ones were scattered. Most of the fish I saw on the finder were on the bottom. I will make a report maybe by tomorrow with pictures. Toni

Were you in a small green boat with two poles? I was thinking that might be you after seeing some of your reports and seeing the stickers on your rig. Its going to be a hot week so fishing might not be as good.
