Got on the lake early (first light). Tried, and tried, and tried with various Swimbaits to find the two SM that I lost the week before, but didn't see a single fish, or get a bite. I decided, after seeing a small group of pads ahead on the shoreline, to replace my Swimbait with my brand new Booyah Poppin Pad Crasher. Got a nice LM on the second cast. Never got another bite or follow for the next hour. It was cold, but I was about the only person on the lake! Peaceful!!!
