Hit Lake Alice 2x this week. Tuesday the 15th the wife and I hit it around 3:30PM and fished until 7. She got 2 real nice ones, around 14" or so. I got a decent 12" chromer. Nightcrawlers and marshmallows were the ticket. Kept these and had nice, pink meat for dinner.
Got there this morning at 7:45 and tried everything in the tackle box, finally got a hit around 11:45 on a nightcrawler/marshmallow combo. Nice, bright 13" rainbow. An hour later I got another, around 10" this time. let 'em both go and threw in the towel around 1:30.
