I only had one pole with me so I set it up with a marshmallow and half a worm with some secret sawse. Within 15 minutes I caught a small 7-8" cutthroat. I let it go but quickly became eagle food as the resident eagle swooped down and got it.

For the next 2 hours I was getting 6 or 7 bites but couldn't connect. They were just feelin the worm but wouldnt get hooked. My assumtion was that these were just perch since a lot of them were being caught, or perhaps some sneaky trout or crawdads. Or maybe just a dull hook? The fishing looks good so I will be back

Do you still catch an occasional 10-12inch Chinook in the big "B"?

I never have, but since the cutts get in there it seems like a chinook could too

It has been awhile since I have caught one. But do not fish the "b" much.
