Arrived at Cain about 10:30 with the lake covered in fog and fished to about 3pm. Water was up a little at the boat ramp with broken grass everywhere. The boat ramp is very poor. Water temp was 54 to 57 degree with one to two other boats on the lake trolling for trout. Perfect day for fall fishing.
I worked the docks along the west side up to the northern section of the lake with a white pattern, producing limited activity with no hook sets. Sun came out and I switched to a rainbow pattern. Trout were jumping all around in the northern section while I started back down the west side. The bite was good with the new setup. Best fish being the 4.5lb in the picture.
