took the first boat over to Whidbey this morning and decided to fish Lone lake before we went to Goss.

Lone did not disappoint, my friend and I each caught 2 fish about 16"ish range. we had countless hits. I lost the biggest fish I have hooked on a lake as well, rolled on the surface and looked like a steelie. but missed it sore some and kept trolling around the lake. we used white woolly buggers, green woolly buggers and a new lure I got at teds, (the name escapes me but it was an awesome lure, I will post the name when I buy more)

we called it a morning when the wind was becoming a nuisance, I threw a spinner bait on and hit the shoreline on the way back caught a couple 1lb bass in the 100yrds of shoreline I fished.

it was a great cold morning, can’t wait to be back.
