Went to Summit Lake today to try and catch some kokanee before the lake closes for the season. It was pretty consistent all day. Unfortunately I had to stop because i had to work later in the day. Didn't catch any kokanee, but caught and released 8 or 9 trout. All averaged around 12". The fish were hanging around 35-45 feet mostly. I usually use a normal trebble hooked wedding ring, but they didn't like it today for some reason. I switched to a wedding ring called a kokanee killer. It has a red blob on the shank of the hook that glows in the dark, also had a silver and orange body, and the fish really seemed to like that better than all the other colors. Overall a good last weekend of the season for me.
