Decided to try out Lake Meridian, fishing off the fishing dock. I had a pole in the water on the north side and was there for a couple hours using power eggs, bottom fishing with a 4' leader. Casted out by the buoy, caught a 12" rainbow. Another fisherman was out there, using crawler and power eggs also casting out by the buoy and caught a couple 10-11" kokanee. Over on the other side, saw people hooking fish after fish right off the dock. Went over to check it out, and a nice young man catch and releasing was showing me how he was using a small squid jig and tipping it with prawn. The kokanee were just circling the area he said. After about an hour it was dusk and slowing down for them.
