Went out to check the conditions on the area rivers to do some whitefish fish'n only to see to much ice flowing. Dropped by Elton pond to check the ice (just happened to have a pole and auger) Didn't see any indications of anyone attempting to fish it yet so I drilled my way out to a likely spot (ice was a nice hard (2"). Drop a couple of TROUTCANDY JIGS and put two Dandy Bows on the ice in a total of 10 minutes of fishing with two lost. The conditions will only get better with this cold spell.
