Went out to hog yesterday after work for some night time trout fishing. Got on the ice just as it was getting dark around 445 5ish. We fished till around 730 and landed well over 25 cat fish. They ranged from about 4 inches to 16 inches.
My question is, should we be taking out all the catfish we can in hopes to lessen the population? I know fish and game killed off hog some number of years ago and would hate to see them kill it off again.
Any thoughts or comments would be much appreciated!
Happy fishing
