I haven't been to this lake in a number of years, the ice was an impressive 14". Had a few trout rods shallow and a few for Perch. Ended up catching one trout during our short visit. Swedish Pimple in glow tipped with a piece of worm down 10ft did the trick. It's a small deep lake that is rarely fished from what I could tell. I hardly ever target small pan fryer trout but I decided to try somewhere new as it's been slow for jumbo's recently and my boat is siting in 5" of ice on Hayden so Kokanee got put on hold for a while.. small shrimp could be seen in the ice hole, if there are perch in there i'd assume they are pretty good size if you can find em. The Trout meat was light in color, no surprise there.
