Went to Island to try and catch a trout and try my new Pflueger Supreme baitcast reel. I casted a silver spoon from the dock and a couple of spots along the trail with no luck. I saw one fish rise, but that was it. I also tried a crankbait slowly by the weeds near the dock. The reel worked great and the sun was actually shining, so I didn't mind the fish not cooperating.
