Myself and my best friend - a rowdy resident of this lake, hit the water shortly before noon. A neighbor informed us the lake had been planted the day before. The weather had warmed recently so after catching zero fish on 4 total trips out here since mid November we were now doubly reassured that would change.. In fact it did! We had a dozen or so strikes but in the end we managed to boat 3 in about 4 hours.. Both of us wish they would stop planting so early as bird predation is brutal. This lake gets little pressure until summer so there's no one to scare them off.. My buddy called the WDFW last year and let them know this... They planted a week earlier this year. Choke on the paperwork boys!
Great bass lake for the kids in the summer. Nothing huge but lots of action when the water warms...
