I fished swofford pond from 10am until 2pm with my daughter & a buddy. We fished for catfish with worms on the bottom, with a size 1 hook 20 inch leader & 1 ounce slider. We only caught 1 bullhead catfish but did catch 13 trout, 2 of them were 15". The wind was pretty bad but fishing turned out pretty good in spite of that. As a bonus we seen a herd of 17 elk by boat launch. I have been fishing swofford for 32 years now & it has yet to disappoint me. When the weather gets warmer It's a great place to take the kids or grand kids.
