We got to the lake at about 4:30pm and noticed that the water was really muddy so we knew it was gonna be tough fishing. Tried worms and mellows and power bait, spinners and nothing. Put a bobber on for my son and he got a hit but couldnt land it. So no trout today but we did notice a catfish head on the bank and just before leaving my buddy got a bite while reeling in and we seen the catfish surface just before spitting the hook. I have heard that the lake was killed off to get rid of them a few years ago. Looks like they're making a comeback.
