We tried those Sprague Lake Rainbows this morning arriving at the lake at first light. we trolled around the east end with only a couple strikes to show for our time so we trolled towards the west end, at about mid lake we started marking fish and picked up our first fish. We continued west without anymore bites so we motored to the west end and got three more fish before we had to call it a day. The fish did not really provide us with a pattern to go with as we got one on a trolled muddler minnow one on a silver and black jerk bait one on a trolled wolly bugger and one on a crawdad crank bait. Our speed was about 1.7 most of the time. We spoke to Monika at Sprague Lake Resort and she told us it has been a later in the day bite. We would like to have stayed longer but it is my buddies 50th and he had plans with his wife for the rest of the day soooo what are ya gonna do ? Hope I gave enough info to help, Dennis
