Mia Bordner (11) and brother Charlie (9) brought out their dad, Burke Bordner for a morning fishing with Anton. They won the trip by writing a Fathers Day essay for KOZI last year. It was a great morning and they are turning into top flight anglers.

We hit depths of 170 to 260 feet in Manson Bay pulling Gold Star Needlefish Squiddy's baited with a piece of Northern Pikeminnow at 1.1 mph within 5 feet of the bottom. The bite was at it's very best early, but was pretty steady all morning.

Charlie even had "the big one that got away" story to go home with. Had a monster on for about 5 minutes!

Any kokanee updates? Still any debris in the water?

Nothing of note to report on the Kokanee front. Bands of debris are around Wapato Pt and Willow Point today with scattered big logs from Fields Point to a few miles above Deer Point.

Thanks for the info Anton... seems I got into some debris today and dinged the boat up pretty good although I avoided visible chunks...must of been subsurface for any who might read this so avoid any areas with debris! (Wapato point is where I think I encountered the damage)
