This post is a few weeks old already but was having issues with my account.
Fished Samish for Kokes just to get the gear wet basically. It can be done if you are in the right place at the right with the right gear. We tried many different depths and distances behind the boat, as well as dodgers, lures, scents and bait. Still too cold at depth as at 25' the temp was around 45 and at 50' was right around 41. Not quite to the 50-52 sweet spot anywhere yet.
Had a good time and got a system down in a different boat. First time I've fished in the snow too.
