Fishing at Rat lake was decent. The water was very clear and could see four or five rainbows swimming around about twenty feet off the flat area to the right of the boat dock that provides great shore fishing. Further off shore trout could be seen hitting the surface. The only bait I could get the rainbows to hit was the sherbet powerbait. both my catches were after 4pm. 12 inches each.
