My two bro's and I fished Nahwatzel for the first time yesterday. This will be a short report - we got skunked!

Tried trolling various spoons and wedding rings and spinners - zip. Tried bottoms fishing with night crawlers, some off brand of "power bait" like goo, mellows etc - zip. Not even a nibble.

Im tempted to blame it on the weather - wind was blowing pretty hard - but I cant really do that. We saw several different people catching fish while we were there. Two from shore and one from a boat. A couple of the one we saw were decent size trout too!

The only reason I gave it a 2 star rating was that we did see some nice fish actually landed.

Obviously, we were doing something wrong! :)

Still had a fun day on the water. Id rather get skunked on the water than mow my lawn any day :D
