Finally hit the lake,..got to the 65th St dock about 1030, crowded, left corner was open so I took it. Did not see a hit for over an hour, but I finally got one, about 10". Winds coming from NNW at a pretty good clip, waters very choppy. 2 men left the right corner so I scooted there and was finally able to use my other pole. 1/2 later had a hard take down, set the hook and let him run, strong fish. When I finally got close to the dock, it still was not ready, more runs, finally tired, my buddy James netted it, 18", fat!! Ended up catching 3 more, 2-15" & 1-14", called it a day @ 1500, skies finally cleared. Cleaned the fish at the dock, the 18" had nice red/pink meat,..stayed longer than I expected, but the holdover made it worth it,..
