got to city launch at about 530, followed 2 guide boats out. I fished Minneapolis beach for a while fished shallow and deep varying depth here and there. I didn't see any fish boated, but im sure there were plenty as there was about 40 boats trolling around. I shot up to the yacht club area, trolled up and back from the state park, picked up and released 1 rainbow at 40' in 150 fow. I then went down in front of lakeside for a bit hoping for a rainbow as this spot usually holds them. there were several boat in there so I trolled through and went back to the launch around 2pm without any Kokanee love. 1 guide boat I followed out was back in with a cooler full of rainbow and a few Kokanee. another guide boat said they had 11 Kokanee. I'm looking forward to May the third!
