Hit the lake about noon, and fished until around 4 because feeling of the toes was gone! Water was about 40 degrees so found most fish were hanging in the shallows or towards the surface. Fished the first half of the time w/ sinking and black carey special. Mostly trolling the line out and slow stripping it back. Hit 5, landed 3, all 16-19". Fat fish! 2nd half of trip switched to floating line and hit one on an articulated leach but lost it, then landed one on bright green woolly. Lastly did some still fishing w/ a brassie and a blood midge, hooked an landed one fish on the blood midge. Great lake, should be even better when you can fish it all day and not freeze.
