Recently refurbished my canoe, new seats, yoke, minor fiberglass work. Haven't had it in the water for a few years. Decided on Chain lake as a small lake seemed best the first time out. Anyways a beautiful little lake, saw a few fish rising but not much biting. Trolled with flatfish, spoons, spinner and still fished for a while. Not much action but finally caught a planter on a Dick Nite. Not much for fish but great to get the canoe in the water and paddle around on a nice day. I will be back.
