The I 82 ponds as well as Fio Rito by Ellensburg have been producing some awesome crappie fishing when the weather and water clarity allows. Pond 6, pond 4 have been the best of the I 82's with pond 5 surging from time to time. I have been slaying the crappie by hitting the peak lunar times and when the inclement weather allows. Alternating my custom jigs between tight lining and slip bobber, I have put well over 400 crappie on the bank this spring, with some real slabs in the mix. I hope this good fishing holds so Walakes administrator Mike Carey and I can film a crappie fishing how to video, possibly on the I 82's sometime next week. Both slabs and bass have been hitting Berkely Gulp minnows and the fishing should get better as the water warms. I have a very productive selection of custom crappie nymphs so feel free to Email me if you'd like to try them out. Good luck, the Jigster
