Went to Rapjohn early got in the water by 4:30am waiting for light. Once the sun came up we got into the trout steady floatin night crawlers till around 8:30am when we decided to up an move to Ohop to chase after some crappie since we were tired of the crowds and 12 inch planters, Ohop being a year around lake we figured most people would of skipped it. Wrong it was a popular choice. Launched, made a run and started after the crappie. We threw jigs tipped with nightcrawlers till we found a school and then it was just straight jigs ( Yellow grubs) . We only found small crappie but a bunch of perch in about 15 feet. Ended up keeping a few perch , a decent crappie, and completed our trout limits with a couple 16- 17" hold overs pink firm meat.
