Seen lots of fish caught off pop gear and wedding rings, nothing of much size. Decided to try using a chartreuse power worm and caught about ten in 1 hour.. I used 3/8 oz egg weight, barrel swivel, and 3-4 foot leader of 6lb test. One fish was about 2 3/4 pounds. Times fished was 7am -9am 12-2pm

The limit is five fish per day weather kept or released when using bait and scented plastic worms are bait. The Washington Fish and Game monitors this site looking for reports like yours.

That's weird. When the warden checked us on the lake he didn't say those were bait. He said since we were using lures e could catch and release as many fish as we wanted. Thanks for the heads up though.

What was the size range of the 10 trout? Largest being 2 3/4lbs.

The smallest was probably 8", most were 10"-12". The powerworns were pretty cool and I lipped every single one. I've also had luck dropshotting in other areas, mostly western WA.

power worms are definitely bait, FYI.
