Not too impressed with Medical Lake right now. I went there four times over my spring break (the exact days were April 3 through April 6 that I tried) and I went out again on the 23rd, with the same damn luck as the other 4 trips: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I had only stayed about 1 to 2 hours on my first four trips, so I disregarded those, but this time I stayed from 8:30am and stay until about 1:30pm and didn't see a single fish and only heard a single bite that a fellow angler got. I might try again when it gets a little warmer, but I think Medical is going to get scratched off my list of go-to lakes. NOTE: I used four different lures over this period (all were "artificial" and single hook barbless with no bait), and tried three different colors of soft plastic twisty curly tail on both generic hooks and on twister/fisheye jigheads. ... Hopefully West Medical will prove some better results.
