I tried drifting in a rowboat for a couple hours and had a few bites but didn't get anything but a sunburn. I decided to leave and go clamming instead but threw my line in from the shore as I was packing up and got my 5 trout in less than an hour. They are all about 12". I was using powerbait bubblegum eggs.
And I still picked up some clams on the way home.
