A buddy of mine and I went out to clear lake. It wasn't even fair how easy the fishing was. We had our first fish approximately 20 seconds after first cast, and limited in about 2 hours. We actually could have limited much faster, as we spent time experimenting with other baits/lures to slow down our catch rate. Powerbait about 2.5 feet off the bottom was the trick. I also had great luck on power eggs. It is worth noting that there was a TON of algae in the lake. Normally it doesn't get this bad until August or September. Tight Lines!
