Hit Clear lake Tuesday morning for the first time to try for some Kokanee. Got on the water around 7:00 and there were a lot of fish jumping. Started to troll not too far off the launch and picked up a Rainbow. Once we got out to deeper water we started off at 20' to 25' on the downrigger. Got several hits and were able to get 4 kokes to the boat by 11:30 or so. Had several others get off. A little smaller compared to the American lake fish but fun to catch. Also got a few more rainbows here and there. Had to lower the lines to 30' - 35' later in the morning to keep in them. Used Bahama mama blade with red wedding ring and a 50/50 dick nite with red wedding ring for the most part and worked well.
