Had the day to do some fishing so I tripped to the Quincy Wildlife area to check on some of the lakes there. Got to Evergreen around 8:30 am. Fish'd the back slews at the south end where the bass were stack'd like firewood. Land'd seven big bass (small mouth and large mouth). They averaged 17" with the largest being a 19 3/4" small mouth. and a 19" lrgmth with many 10-12"ers in the mix. Used a 4" YUM lizard in pumpkin/green with 1/32 oz jig. Great fishing in this area but the other lakes I fish'd didn't produce much.
