Bluegills were very active this AM, you can see them in large numbers just to the left side of the boat ramp (next to fence).
Gear used was 8'6" light action rod w/ 4 lb test w/ 1/32 oz crappie jig tipped with worm (no bobber), flip/ toss jig from 5 - 10 ft from shore, with the water so clear - you can see the jig swarming with bluegills as it hit the water.
Fished from appox 6 - 6:30 am, it was bite-after-bite, I figured that I had enough exercise for the morning on the bluegills and stopped when I landed 25. Then went after the rainbows, caught 4 avg stocked size and then headed home and called it a day.
