Been fishing Long in the afternoon for crappie. I have had one lights out day this season so far. Have to work it hard for the Crappie. Well worth it, as these crappie are nice plate sized on occasion. Also been catching some the nicest Perch I have seen caughg in yrs and the Bass are hitting the jigs also. For some reason there does not seem to be alot of fish so far but again they are nice. when you find the Crappie and they quit bitting just come back to that spot in an hr or so and you will get a few more.

Nice slabs soberg. Looks like the water over Nine Mile is slowing down finally. Guess I better put my boat in and give it a whirl.
Thanks for the report - Alan

Thanks Alan, I will be out there Saturday targeting Crappie and Perch.
R639243, I will be out there Saturday Targeting Crappie and Perch. If you see a Starcraft Superfisherman 190 (blue/white) out there come up and talk to me. If I am fishing out from shore aways, I am probly be targeting Perch. Especially if I am out by the Post Office.
Note: I should be Targeting Pike or Kokanee. I have seen plenty of Pike, Crappie fishing and I seen a guy at the boat launch with 3 monster Kokanee, 16" to 22". The guy wouldn't give up any secrets.
