Came over to Beaver from Big Lake and was surprised that there were no boats on the water at 10:30.
Pretty calm so I started pounding the pads and shoreline using mostly a floating Rapala. The weeds are thickening up and it won't be long before it will be hard to find any open water. Sun came out and it got pretty warm, might have even gotten a little burnt, feels good though.
Ended up catching 4 with the 2 biggest at 2lbs.11oz. and 2lbs 10oz.
