The bride and I set out on our adventure around 3:30. It had been raining all morning and finally let up. It wouldn't bother me, but part of our vows are to fish in manageable weather. Call us crazy, but it's true! The fishing had slowed significantly from prior weeks - we still managed 6 trout in the few hours we were out there - largest 12". We did catch quite a few perch around the shoreline slinging out worms on spinners with no weights. Largest of these was maybe 6". Good for nothing other than the inner child. A footnote: we caught a trout that still had a hook and line in it's gills. IF YOU CANT DE-HOOK YOUR FISH TAKE IT HOME AND BURY IT OR GIVE IT AWAY! The eagles and osprey could be harmed/killed by your lack of skill and care!!!!
