Went out for the morning before all the skiers showed up, launched about 7am 3 other boats out started fishing for bass with no luck. Tried worm jigs frogs and top water, they just were not bitting today. Everybody else were fishing for trout so I switched over to trout, right off the batt got a nice little 11" not bad as I moved up the lake towards the ramp another guy was loading his boat so I stopped and tryed another stop till he cleared the ramp. 30mins later he was still trying to pull his boat out, FYI if u have a good size boat the dirt ramp can be a pain it would be a good idea to have a AWD, the guy had to leave his boat there because he could not pull it out. Mean while I caught one 12" while watching all this and lost one. Then one more boat headed in so I waited for them to clear the ramp and waited and waited, please when u have a small ramp like this one and when u see others boats wanting to come in please don't unpack ur boat one peace at a time and clean ur fish there at the ramp, then take one peace of equip at a time and walk it up the hill. Bring ur truck down pack it and clear the ramp, it's just common curtisy to other boats. So after an hr was able to get in before all the skiers showed up, this is a tough lake to fish in when the ski boats are doing half throttle with 3ft wakes behind them just slamming u. It's a great morning or late evening lake for fishing I plan on getting a fly rod I bit they would just nail a fly at dusk. I would not fish the lake with all the ski boats not worth the hassle although I don't blame them it's a nice lake to swim in but for fishing early morning or evening. All my fish were caught in about 12ft of water most of my pings of the fish finder were at 10-14 ft just FYI
