Fished Roses today and got a limit of very nice trout in a little over 2 hours. Largest was 16''. The rest were all over 12''. Really put up a great fight. Water temp. was 70' so I went deep with 1 1/2 ounces of weight with a worm on a slow death set up. Tried to pick up a few spiny rays but only hooked a few small ones. Did talk to another guy at the launch & he did good drifting the shore line for blue gill & crappie. Today the lake was like glass for the most part, but it can change on a drop of a hat. Only saw 2 other boats on the lake, but there were a few kids at the launch picking up small perch. They were happy as clams at a high tide when I gave them 4 of my trout. Had to keep the biggest one for dinner!
