Had a great day fishing with my son from about 7:30 - 12:00 noon. We put in at the Lake Spokane campground and crossed to the other side. We found senkos and curly tails in green shades worked best. The bite was on with tailbiters close to shore and good-eating size a little further out from shore. Towards 10-12 the bite eased off, but we still had fun. We came home with nine between us. The photo shows of our catch.

Nice catch! Good to see someone keep a few bass.

I seldom keep them, and you will hear some say that the lake is a SH** Hole because it is downstream of the treatment plant, but I support your take and know the water is clean enough. Might keep a couple myself next time in support of selective harvest.

WELL DONE.

LOL, the water that comes out of the treatment plant is actually cleaner than the water in the river. The standards set by the EPA have become ridiculous, and the money it's costing the taxpayers is also ridiculous.
But hey let them think that I'll keep fishin Long Lk. ;)

I don't think its the treatment plant for most people. For me its the heavy metals from cdr ' elaine lake that wash down. Freaks me out to much. Good catch though.
