A couple of friends of mine and myself decided to go fishing after our classes were over for the day at CWU. We got there around two o'clock. The Sun was out and there was not a ripple on the water. (except for the fish jumping) The lake was about one tenth unfrozen. I was fly fishing off of the dock with my buddies. The Hatchery truck had just dumped a ton of fish into the lake. The fish were rising all over the place and you could see them swimming under the dock. It was pretty cool. I got my fly rod out and tied on a black bugger. For the next three and a half hours it was none stop catching and releasing for rainbows up to 18 inches. Between all of us we probably caught and released 125 fish. It was great fishing. I would just let my fly sink about five feet and the fish would just hammer it. It was great fun. (ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE)
