This report covers the 28th thru the 31st. Lake Trout fishing has continued excellent. The Bar continues to be the big fish location for early in the morning and again in the evening. The indeterminate flat, the tip of Wapato Pt. and the face of Manson Bay are the best mid-day locations. As always try to keep your presentation trolled between 1 and 1.5 mph within 3 to 5 feet of the bottom. Put a Mack's Lure Smile Blade in front of a Silver Horde 3.4 inch glow in the dark Needlefish Squiddy. Rig it with tandem 2/0 Sickle Hooks and bait the front hook with a piece of Northern Pikeminnow. Or a Worden Lures T4 Flatfish in GPLF will work too. Smear it with Pautzke's Krill Juice mixed with petroleum jelly as a cover scent. This is a great time of the year for size and numbers of Mackinaw.
