I arrived at lake bosworth at 7:45 am got my gear ready, blew up my raft, lake was like glass 62 degree air temp, over cast, perfect conditions, i brought my 3 weight and a ul spinning set up this trip. On the spinning set up i used a 3/8oz egg sinker, free sliding with a red pegged bead as a stopper, 18" of line size 6 octopus hook and half a nightcrawler, on my3 weight i trolled an unnamed pattern i tied up last night, its simlar to a spider. I used fast sink tip line, on the water by 8:00am, i trolled to the far end of the lake and caught 3 fish on my first pass, first fish came on the ul worm set up, a 7.5" kokanee, hooked in the eye. I had no idea this lake had koks, ive never seen/ heard of any caught here, but i got one, also its my first ever kokanee. Very surprising catch. next fish came on the fly, the largest trout of the day @12 1/2", next fish came at the end of my first pass on the worm set up, 11" trout, i changed my fly to a black and blue spider, trolled my way back to the launch, caught a 10 3/4" trout right away, missed a hook up and several hits trying catch my 5th fish then about halfway up the lake my rodtips doubles over on my spinning set up, set the hook fish on, landed a 11 1/2" trout i paddled back to the launch and left right at 9:45
