kokanee kid, (chuck), and i, started fishing about sevenish. saw tony. went over to see her. she was still fishing. chuck called her a snagger. lol. truth is best! dropping and yanking. lol. anyway, she has a nice boat! she must have done well. she left soon after we said hello. so we went about trolling. and oh, we beat their little butts! might be my imagination, but all five looked to have the slightest beginning of a hook snout. all mine were, in fact, males...used my number one all time killer, yet again. my nickel seps dodger, with prism tape i added. then replaced the red seps logo on top of that. my two tone, pink wedding ring. most of our fish, were going after the rear red BARE hook again. these fish are odd! near everywhere we went, we hooked a fish. i think we lost as many as we landed. we had fun. and tried a jar of my smoked kokanee. it was excellent. nex time, i will remember rolaids.....koke oil gives me killer heartburn. eagle came to visit us two or three times. she has to eat, too, you know.

that is called a kahle hook. in size six, i beleive. the best holding hooks for kokes i have ever used. lucky me, i found out this near 40 years ago. you can see the #4 gammi octopus trailler, hiding at rear of dodger. some days, they prefere the bare hook. just like their big cousins in lake washington. lol. its after 5 am on the 19th as i type this. getting ready to head up again. im the one in the white 14' with the 20 suzuki. say hi if you see me.
