fish were biting funny today. first two, within ten minutes of fishing, at seven am. from then on, well, i lost like ten fish. got my limit, including one that looks like it either had been injured as a babe, or got ahold of some gmo fishfood. same rig. seps/pink wedding ring. jim got his limit still fishing, in a little over half an hour. wow. i got two females today. talked to another fellow, who says all he has been getting, is bucks. me too. lol. wind picked up, so i left at like ten thirty. probably hit it again tomorrow.

Wow, nice job! I fished there last night from about 6:30 to dusk and only had two take-downs trolling DN dodgers and pink hoochies with corn, lost 'em both. I sure wish I knew what I'm doing wrong, I keep striking out :-(

my fav dodger, and main stay, is the seps. nickel. i put prism tape on it, both sides, and replace the red seps logo. i run maybe 16 inches behind it. two tone pink wedding ring. a use a kahle hook, on front, and a #4 red gammi as the trailler. play em gentle. if they pull, dont reel! let the rod take the shock. i have a tika rod. its sweet. as for bait, white corn with some mikes shrimp oil, and a few drops of anise. this is my main stay scent. when the fish are aggressive, it dont matter much. one constant, is the CORN. two kernals only. if they are hitting light, use just one kernal. let your stuff, sink to near verticle. then reingage motor. be ready!
