got to the lake early, and nothing doing. watched a few boats still fishing, and then they left. saw tony breifly, and then she was gone. i was the only one one the lake. period. the cat was away. the doc played. i abused them! they bit consistently, if i trolled in water no deeper than 40-50' deep. at my usual 30' down. i think they are becomming irritable. like this old man. so. i just went thru the edge of the school. over. and over. and over.....bang.bang. bang. then, i left. i have to get ready for kings on a bobber, down on the coast, the next few days. see if i can abuse these, as well.....lol. the lake water, is down a few degrees. i will return by end of week. to try em agian. surely, i will have lots in the freezer, by seasons end, to enjoy all winter. can a bunch, as well. oh. same lure. green spin glo, behind a gold double DD dodger. 25 pulls back, 30' down. and stop and start, cornering, it what it takes to get em to hit. if i did not do this, i got zilch.
